Angels Guard Tempted Believers

Psalm 91 NRSV

No evil shall befall you, no scourge come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. (Psalm 91:10-11)

Temptation can come from anywhere; however, we have God and the heavenly hosts to give us a way of protection and escape.

Festivities Ended, People Return Home

2 Chronicles 7:8-11 NRSV

On the twenty-third day of the seventh month he sent the people away to their homes, joyful and in good spirits because of the goodness that the Lord had shown to David and to Solomon and to his people Israel. (2 Chronicles 7:10)

When the celebration ends, we return home and to work inspired, renewed, and ready to continue good and faithful kingdom work.

Temple Completed and Dedicated

Temple Completed and Dedicated

2 Chronicles 7:1-6 NRSV

When all the people of Israel saw the fire come down and the glory of the LORD on the temple, they bowed down…and worshiped and gave thanks to the LORD, saying, “For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.” (2 Chronicles 7:3)

Particularly when you can see and feel the glory of God after completing a goal with God’s help, worship and thanksgiving to God are always in order.   Do you owe God a praise?
