Free Gift of Grace and Hope
Romans 5:12-17 NRSV
If, because of one man’s trespass, death exercised dominion through that one, much more surely will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness exercise dominion in life through the one man, Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:17)
Unlike sale items at our favorite store, quantities of grace and mercy never run low in supply.

Saul Meets Jesus on Damascus Road
Acts 9:1-9 NRSV
He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul why do you persecute me?” (Acts 9:4)
What do you remember about the voice of Jesus the first time you heard it? Where were you?

Women Find Jesus’ Tomb Empty
Mark 16:1-8 NRSV
But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed; you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised; he is not here. Look, there is the place they laid him.” (Mark 16:6)
You can overcome the shock of an empty tomb when you discover that its emptiness signals victory and not defeat!

God’s Servant to Establish Justice Everywhere
Isaiah 42:1-9 NRSV
He will not grow faint or be crushed until he has established justice in the earth; and the coastlands wait for his teaching (Isaiah 42:4)
Jesus’ quest for justice is relentless. We know this, because of Calvary. What actions are you taking towards justice for all?

God Will Not Forsake the People
Isaiah 42:10-17 NRSV
I will lead the blind by a road they do not know, by paths they have not known I will guide them. I will guide them. I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places level ground. These are the things I will do, and I will not forsake them. (Isaiah 42:16)
Prayer: God, help us to remain faithful in following your lead as we journey through uncharted territory. AMEN.
Pray for the church, its well-being and faithful response during this pandemic.
