The Sick Need a Physician
Mark 2:13-17 NRSV
When Jesus heard this, he said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick; I have come to call not the righteous but sinners.” (Mark 2:17)
If the church is a ‘hospital’ for the sick to get well, how effective is our ‘hospital’ in these present times?

Woman Healed by Her Faith
Mark 5:21-34 NRSV
For she said, “If I but touch his clothes, I will be made well.” (Mark 5:28)
This woman heard about Jesus. The fact that someone shared Jesus with her made all the difference. Tell someone about Jesus today.

Anoint Sick with Oil and Prayer
James 5:13-16 NRSV
Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord. (James 5:14)
Your prayer life will feed every other area of your life, your spiritual gifts, and your role as an intercessor.

Canaanite Daughter Healed by Mother’s Faith
Matthew 15:21-28 NRSV
Then Jesus answered her, “Woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you wish.” And her daughter was healed instantly. (Matthew 15:28)
May we all have the holy boldness of this mother who didn’t hesitate to place her daughter before the Master Healer!

Healed by Christ’s Wounds
1 Peter 2:18-25 NRSV
He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that, free from sins, we might live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. (1 Peter 2:24)
The weight of bondage should no longer hold us in body or spirit, as, because of Christ, we are healed of our sins.
