Pay attention to people and situations around you that are in need of various forms of healing.

Believers Are Blessed

…Those who believe are blessed with Abraham who believed. (Galatians 3:9)
Our faith should be so strong that it even benefits those who come after us.
Your action: Partner with a mature believer. Share, feed on, strengthen each other, be determined to grow your faith.

Your Faith Has Made You Well
Mark 5:25-34 NRSV
He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.” (Mark 5:34)
We should boost our faith day after day after day! The longer we live the more we’ll need resilient faith.
Monday, October 14. (Thanksgiving Day in Canada)
The Prayer of Faith Is Powerful
James 5:13-18 NRSV
Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective. (James 5:16)
Your prayers have power to do extraordinary things. Pray for a friend, relative, or a name the Holy Spirit gives you.
In keeping with our 2018 – 2019 Connectional Theme, “Economic Justice” we will focus on specific prayer and action points on the topic of Job Opportunity and Training in the months of October and November.
Pray that “minorities” will be given fair opportunities to access jobs, and receive equitable training and income.
Advocate for job opportunities to be circulated in ways that insure minority organizations and communities are included.
Discuss the possibility of having a job network in your congregation.
