Treat Your Parents Justly

Treat Your Parents Justly

Matthew 15:1-9 NRSV

For God said, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘Whoever speaks evil of father or mother must surely die.’ (Matthew 15:4)

Since we did not have an opportunity to choose our parents, pray and ask God to mend any broken relationships and heal any hurts.

On this day when the Connectional Church commemorates the Emanuel Martyrs and Survivors, pray for the survivors, the families, church family, and loved ones and commit to fight against racial hatred and violence.

On this Father’s Day, pray for fathers and those who serve as fathers.

Pray for traveling mercies for all those traveling to the 28th Connectional Christian Education and Youth Congress; June 27-30, 2018; Atlanta, GA.

Call No One Profane or Unclean

(A)nd he said to them, “You yourselves know that it is unlawful for a Jew to associate with or to visit a Gentile; but God has shown me that I should not call anyone profane or unclean. (Acts 10:28)
