God Anoints Jesus King
Hebrews 1:6-9 NRSV
“You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.” (Hebrews 1:9)
Jesus’ love of righteousness calls us to strive for a more excellent way if we are to be productive citizens of God’s kingdom.
