Healed by Christ’s Wounds
1 Peter 2:18-25 NRSV
He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that, free from sins, we might live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. (1 Peter 2:24)
The weight of bondage should no longer hold us in body or spirit, as, because of Christ, we are healed of our sins.
