I Have Overcome the World
John 16:25-33 NRSV
“The hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, each one to his home, and you will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone because the Father is with me.” John 16:32
Things that happen to us in the world may lead to a sense of “aloneness;” but, Christ overcame the world so that we would know we are never alone.
