Jesus’ Compassion for the Grieving
Luke 7:11-18
When the Lord saw her, he had compassion for her and said to her, “Do not weep.” Luke 7:13 NRSV
At the root, to have compassion for someone means that we see them. Jesus sees us in our darkest hour.
