Jesus Denounces Human Traditions
Mark 7:1-8 NRSV
He said to them, “Isaiah prophesied rightly about you hypocrites, as it is written, ‘This people honors me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.” Mark 7:6
Be mindful of the things that become routine. Routine without purpose might remove our heart from acting sincerely.
