Keep the Festival Where God Chooses
Deuteronomy 16:1-8, 15-17
Seven days you shall keep the festival to the LORD your God at the place the LORD will choose; for the LORD your God will bless you in all your produce and in all your undertakings, and you shall surely celebrate. Deuteronomy 16:15 NRSV
Prayer: God of deliverance, inspire in us the joy that makes worship life-giving. Bless the fruit of our lips and the labor of our hands even as we discover new reasons to be excited about your work in the world. Amen.
