Praise God’s Work
Psalm 111 NRSV
He has shown his people the power of his works, in giving them the heritage of the nations. (Psalm 111:6)
Find time to appreciate and celebrate God’s beauty in nature: in a garden, from a window, in a car, or airplane. Enjoy God’s handiwork.
In keeping with our 2018 – 2019 Connectional Theme, “Economic Justice” we will focus on specific prayer and action points on the topic of Job Opportunity and Training in the months of October and November.
Pray that “minorities” will be given fair opportunities to access jobs, and receive equitable training and income.
Advocate for job opportunities to be circulated in ways that insure minority organizations and communities are included.
Discuss the possibility of having a job network in your congregation.
