Rahab Rewarded for Her Faithfulness

Hebrews 11:23-31

By faith Rahab the prostitute did not perish with those who were disobedient, because she had received the spies in peace. Hebrews 11:31 NRSV

Rahab is counted among the heroes of the faith because she made a sacrifice, believing her present to be greater than her past.

Today is recognized as International Women’s Day. Let us pray in thanksgiving for women whose global achievements continue to enrich the world culturally, politically, and socioeconomically.

Even as we pray for an end to COVID-19, also pray for those affected and/or infected with HIV/AIDS.
