The Raising of Lazarus
John 11:20-27, 38-44
Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” John 11:21 NRSV
Martha’s statement comes from a place of frustration; but, the Lord would raise Lazarus in that moment to remind them that the Lord has the last word.
