The Holy Kiss Strengthens the Ministry Bond
2 Corinthians 13:11-13; 1 Thessalonians 5:23-28 NRSV
Finally, brothers and sisters, farewell. Put things in order, listen to my appeal, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. (2 Corinthians 13:11-12a)
Do not take the blessing of right relationships for granted. A “holy kiss” might invoke discernment and other positive outcomes.
Today is Ash Wednesday. As we reflect on the temporal nature of life, may we remember that all things in Christ are made new.
