A New Heart
Ezekiel 36:25-35
A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you; and I will remove from your body the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26 NRSV
The hymn writer, Margaret Douroux, captured this moment when she wrote, “Give me a clean heart so I may serve thee. Lord, fix my heart so that I may be used by thee. For I’m not worthy of all these blessings. Give me a clean heart and I’ll follow thee.”
