A Desire to Be Like Others
1 Samuel 8:1-9
“Just as they have done to me, from the day I brought them up out of Egypt to this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so also they are doing to you.” 1 Samuel 8:8 NRSV
We may find ourselves envying what others have without realizing the burden that comes with it. Do not neglect to remember that everything we need God lovingly provides.
