Romans 6:1-14
Therefore we were buried with him by baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. Romans 6:4 NRSVue
Because of Jesus we do not have to wait for new life, we can have it now.
