David Slays Philistine with a Stone
1 Samuel 17:41-51 NRSV
So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, striking down the Philistine and killing him; there was no sword in David’s hand. 1 Samuel 17:50
We might look at David as being ill-equipped for this moment; however, David had everything he needed to accomplish what God desired to do through him.
