Faith of Levite Mother Saves Moses
Exodus 2:1-10 NRSV
When the child grew up, she brought him to Pharaoh’s daughter, and she took him as her son. She named him Moses, “because,” she said, “I drew him out of the water.” Exodus 2:10
Pharaoh’s daughter may have taken him out of the water, but Moses’ mother had faith that God could keep him while in the water.
