God’s Anointed Ruler of All Nations
Psalm 2 NRSV
Now therefore, O kings be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth. (Psalm 2:10)
Respect is naturally afforded to certain titles; but, God’s anointing sets rulers apart and establishes their actions.
