Jesus Issues His Platform for Justice
Luke 4:14-21 NRSV
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, and let the oppressed go free” (Luke 4:18)
Jesus was anointed for justice. The anointing empowers us to boldly make a difference.
