Jesus Weeps Over Jerusalem
Luke 19:41-44
As he came near and saw the city, he wept over it, saying, “If you, even you, had only recognized on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. Luke 19:41-42 NRSV
A weeping Christ shows the full extent to which Jesus loves God’s own. May the tears of Christ be a matter of celebration over our lives, and not a lament for the marks we miss.
