Pilate’s Judgement of Jesus, “Not Guilty”
Luke 23:9-15 NRSV
And (Pilate) said to them, “You brought me this man as one who was perverting the people; and here I have examined him in your presence and have not found this man guilty of any of your charges against him.” Luke 23:14
It wasn’t guilt that kept Christ in a broken criminal justice system, it was his desire to set us free from such systems.
