Response to God’s Generosity
Deuteronomy 26:1-11 NRSV
So now I bring the first of the fruit of the ground that you, O Lord, have given me.” You shall set it down before the Lord your God and bow down before the Lord your God. (Deuteronomy 26:10)
Giving of the first of the fruit is our faithful response to God’s generosity. Is our response a complete bow before God or a slight nod?
Pray for the work of the Commission on Statistics and Finance as it gathers in Atlanta to do its budget-building work to support the ministry of the AME Church for 2020-2024.
