Send the Rain
2 Chronicles 6:26-31 NRSV
When heaven is shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against you, and then they pray toward this place, confess your name, and turn from their sin, because you punish them. (2 Chronicles 6:26)
King Solomon prays a prayer of petition on behalf of his nation that God will show the people mercy when they repent of their sins. For whom are you called to pray for mercy today?
