Solomon Seeks Wisdom to Govern
1 Kings 3:5-14 NRSV
Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, able to discern between good and evil; for who can govern this your great people? (1 Kings 3:9)
Like Solomon, every faithful leader should pray for and seek after an understanding mind to lead and the ability to discern between good and evil. They are crucial qualities to good leadership; and, such prayer is pleasing to God.
